Help To Move Forward
Remember the saying, “Got any rivers you think are uncrossable? Got any mountains you cannot tunnel through?” God specializes in things thought
impossible, and he can do what no other power can do. These are certainly encouraging words. Maybe right now you are facing impossible circumstances in
your own life. Possibly with health problems, business or financial problems, family problems, or a number of others. Right now, you are uncertain on what to
do, how to move forward.
Joshua found himself to be in this situation. He had a new job assignment from God. Moses had died after leading Israel for 40 years. And now God tells
Joshua he is the new leader. Israel was right on the border of the Promised Land, and he was to lead them against the armies of several nations. It really looked
impossible, a river uncrossable.
But Joshua had some great help. Almighty God Himself gives Joshua an amazing motivational and encouraging speech. “Therefore, shall not any man be
able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and of good courage. For
unto this people shall you divide an inheritance, the land which I promised unto their fathers to give them. (Joshua 1:56)
How this must have encouraged Joshua. Friends, the same God who helped and empowered Joshua will also empower you. God wants to help you overcome
the uncrossable rivers, the difficult mountains in your life. He will help and lead you to paths forward through the seemingly impossible situations in your own life.
By faith, let him speak to you and encourage your faith and admit the great odds along the way of your life. Joyfully partner with him and move out to victory.
