You Are Wealthy
If someone today asked you if you are wealthy, what would you say? Most probably would say, “Well I do OK, but I am not rich.”
But do you realize as a born-again child of God, you are amazingly wealthy? We don’t realize this because we use the wrong measuring stick. God does not honor what the world around us honors. In fact, in many cases, He rejects it.
As a believer, you have the riches of God’s grace bestowed upon you through the gift of His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Think of what people pay to gain longevity of life. But you freely have eternal life. Romans 10:13 tells us, “Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” What a joy to be born again.
He also tells us in John 14:2 that we have a wonderful mansion in heaven prepared for us by the Lord Himself, “In My Father‘s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you, I got to prepare a place for you.”
Friends, there’s no obstacle, no problem, no circumstance you face apart from the marvelous grace of God. He gives us wisdom, strength, guidance, power, patience, love without limit, and so much more. You are a wealthy child of God! You have all you need for life on this earth, eternal life in heaven, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
God is available to you whenever you need Him. His undeserved blessings overflow your life every day. You are a wealthy saint, a royal child of Almighty God. Rejoice in His goodness to you today every day!
